Johnny Lee Elliott, Jr, age 46, passed away in his home in Manassas, VA on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was born May 4, 1971 in Fairfax, VA to the late Johnny Lee Elliott, Sr and Wanda Lee (Moran) Elliott.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Debra (Bailey) Elliott of 21 years, step daughter, Amanda Dunlap of Denver, Co; granddaughter Sirena Holder whom he adored and resides in Louisa, KY; his niece Jennifer Rose Elliott also whom he adored and she resides in Staunton, VA; his brother Robert Elliott of Rockingham, VA; his Aunt Madeline (Elliott) Baker and husband Burke of Radford, VA; his Uncle Harry Melvin Moran and wife Fay of Greenville, VA; his Aunt Betty (Moran) Monroe of Staunton, VA as well as many cousins and extended family.
He is also survived by his in laws, Robert and Rita (Morris) Bailey, whom he loved very much of Culpeper, VA; Lonnie and Jeanette (Myers) Morris of Calverton, VA; Rey and Dora (Morris) Ovalle of Manassas, VA; Geoff and Tammi (Bailey) Case of Manassas, VA as well as many cousins and extended family.
Johnny was employed by Fairfax County Government for twenty-six years. At the age of 18, he started at the agency now known as the Waste Water Management and moved on to what is now known as Procurement and Material Management. He learned a great deal from working in the county and gained many friends during his career.
Johnny enjoyed travelling with his loving family and collecting sports memorabilia.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Monday, December 4, 2017 and Tuesday from 10:00AM-11:00PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA where funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at the Catlett Cemetery.
