John Bickner, an inmate of the county poor house, died Tuesday of a complication of diseases. He had been a county charge only three days, having been sent to the poor farm from this city. He was a miner and had worked in the camps on the Upper Yellowstone. He had been ill about four months, and had been under treatment here until his money ran out, when he allowed himself to be taken to the poor house. He had an uncle at Horr and the latter came down here, but refused to take charge of the remains. The interment took place in the potter’s field.
