Thomas Figuers

Thomas Figuers, 84, of 77 Walter St., died Saturday. Born March 8, 1862, in Birmingham, England, he came to Canada 58 years ago. He was employed for 22 years as a messenger with the Canadian Bank of Commerce, and has been retired for the past 26 years. He attended St. John's Anglican Church, and was a member of the Woodmen of the World. The deceased was a son of the late William Figuers and the former Theresa Johnson. In addition to the widow, the former Theresa Troth, he is survived by a son, Thomas, and a daughter, Lillian. He was the last member of his family. A public funeral service will be held Tuesday at St. John's Anglican Church, at 3:30 p.m., with burial at Mt, Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Canon J, N. H. Mills will officiate. The remains are resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home until,Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., when removal will be made to the church.
