Funeral services for Lucina will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Father Dave Bruener will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday evening, December 4, at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday morning at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Burial will follow the service at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.
Lucina was born on January 10, 1927 in Rudolph, Wisconsin to the late William and Theresa (Kersten) Dorshorst. She married Raymond Breit on September 11, 1948 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rudolph. He passed away on November 5, 2005. Lucina worked in the offices for Paperboard Products from 1945 - 1948 before retiring to become a full time homemaker to take care of her family.
Lucina enjoyed traveling, playing cards and in her earlier years loved to bowl. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucina is survived by her five children Darlene (Melvin) Konietzki and their children Will (Carin) Johnson, Korey (Jenni) Konietzki and Kelly (Ben) Koski; LaVonne (Patrick) Fuller and their children Chad (Taryn) Fuller, Joshua (Nikki) Fuller and Chris (Amber) Fuller; Rodney (Cheryl) Breit and their children Michael Kubisiak, Mathew (Masae) Kubisiak and Ana Breit; Alan (D'Ann) Breit and their children Nathan (Val) Breit and Jena (Dustin) Bryson; Gary Breit and his child Cori (Trent) Branstetter; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers Ervin Dorshorst and Duane Dorshorst; sister Noreen Zellner; sisters-in-law Elmarie Dorshorst and Theresa Dorshorst. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, parents William and Theresa Dorshorst, brothers Eugene, Alois and Elwin Dorshorst, sisters Verna Debyl and Margaret Marach; son-in-law Lawrence Johnson and 27 sisters and brothers-in-law.
