Centilla's first marriage was to Eddie's older brother, Warren Wesley Taylor, Sr. (Note that no records can be found for this Warren Wesley Taylor. He may be listed as Alex W. Taylor in the 1880 census Washington Parish, son of Josiah Taylor. Note also that Warren Wesley and James Eddie had an older brother named Marion Wesley that went by "Wes". Some people have confused the three brothers.)
