Mr. Judson Kellogg, Sr., passed away February 25, 1923 after a brief illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were held Wednesday at his late home, and burial in Hannibal Center cemetery. Mr. Kellogg was born at Marrietta, N.Y. in 1849 and started in business there as a blacksmith at the age of 14 years. He, with his wife, Catherine Kellogg, moved to Hannibal taking up work there and later became a prosperous farmer. He was a man of ability, a good citizen, always thoughtful of others and a kind and loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed in the community as well as by his friends and relatives, that are to mourn his loss. He is survived by his widow, Catherine Kellogg, three sons, Frank, Fred and Judson, two daughters, Ida Pellett and Lizzie Kellogg, besides a number of grandchildren, all of Hannibal.
