—Ruth Schrader, 45, died at Sabetha hospital on Tuesday evening, March 2. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Henry Schrader of the home northwest of Hiawatha, 4 brothers, Paul, of home, Leslie, of Atchison, Floyd, Walter, of Hiawatha. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from the Baptist church, Rev. Frank H. Rissler officiating. Interment in Hiawatha cemetery.

  Funeral Services For Ruth Schrader
    Funeral services for Ruth Schrader were held Thursday afternoon from Baptist church with Rev. Frank H. Rissler officiating. Mrs. Ira Overfield, Mrs. Elmer Hards accompanied by Mrs. B. E. Spalding on organ sang "No Night There," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," "Abide with Me." Body bearers were Harold Justice, Arthur Adams, William Schrader, Lawrence Mauslein, Dana Mauslein, Robert Warren, Jr.

Schrader
—Ruth Hannah Schrader, only daughter of Henry, Sarah Walters Schrader, was born Oct. 10, 1897 near Hiawatha, died Tuesday evening March 2, 1943 in hospital at Sabetha, Kans., at the age of 45 years, 4 months, 20 days. Her father died April 13, 1934. She is survived by her mother of the home, 4 miles northeast of Hiawatha, 4 brothers, Paul of the home, Leslie of Atchison, Floyd, Walter of Hiawatha, 10 nieces, nephews. Ruth united with Bethel Baptist church when she was 12 years old. She was very faithful to her church putting all trust in her Savior. She was afflicted with an illness which made it impossible for her to attend church, but she bore it all with great patience, was very cheerful to the end. Funeral was held Thursday afternoon, March 4, at Baptist church with Rev. Rissler officiating. The beautiful hymns, "No Night There," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," "Abide With Me," were sung by Mrs. Ira Overfield, Mrs. Elmer Hards accompanied by Mrs. B. E. Spalding. Interment in Hiawatha cemetery.
