He was born at Hiawatha, August 14, 1903, the son of Henry and Sarah Walters Schrader. He attended rural Brown County schools and later farmed northeast of Hiawatha before retiring and moving to town in 1974.
Mr. Schrader was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hiawatha.
He was married to Mabel Chadwell, February 6, 1929, at Fairview. She survives at the home.
Also surviving are a son, Floyd Schrader, Jr., of Hawthorne, California, a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Hyle of Topeka; a brother, Walter Schrader of Hiawatha; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held from the Casselman-Meek Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, with Pastor Jerry Boaz officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.
