Diane Barbara Parker, age 59, of North Triphammer Road, Lansing, NY passed away, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Hospicare Residence after an illness.
Born September 19, 1958 in Ithaca, Diane was a daughter of the late Clayton and Marion Wiiki Jolly. She attended Dryden Schools and was graduated from Lansing High School in 1976.
Diane was the Secretary to the Director of the Cornell Campus Store and later was a manager in the Human Recourses Department where she touched the lives of many people.
In 1976 she was married to Ralph Poole who tragically died at age 29 in 1985. On October 5, 2002 she was married to Robert Parker who became her soul mate and best friend. Together they shared many wonderful times on cruise vacations and had many special times enjoying Cayuga Lake. Diane was a ray of sunshine to any gathering. She will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Parker at home, her siblings, Joanne Jolly of Ithaca and Rev. David (Donna) Jolly of Kingston, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also surviving are extended family members, James (Rebecca Sykes) Parker of Manvel, TX and William (Sigrid) Parker of Locke, NY and a special friend, Cindy Seager. Diane was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Jolly and her in-laws, Mae and Paul Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM, Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David Jolly officiating. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lansing.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 6 PM, Monday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
