Virden, April 1 - Andrew Conder, sr. , 86, of Virden, died at the home of his son, Mike, at 5 a.m., March 31, 1944, following an extended illness.
He was a retired coal miner.
Mr. Conder is survived by two sons, Mike and Andrew, jr., both of Virden; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Timko, of Virden; Mrs. Anna Curry, of Springfield; and Sister Mary Karla, a nun of Chicago.
The remains were removed from the Willis funeral home to the home of Mike Conder in Virden.
Funeral services were at Sacred Heart Church.
Burial was in Virden cemetery.
