Mrs. Hughes was a member of Whites Creek Baptist Church.
She retired from Burlington Industries.
She is preceded in death by parents, William & Elizabeth Foland; husband, John Dallas Hughes; sister, Illine "Snookie" Reid; son-in-law, George Edmonds.
Survivors include Daughter Mary Elizabeth Edmonds of Rockwood, TN Teresa Setser (Wayne) of Ten Mile, Tennessee Grand -Children Tara Edmonds Stout & Aaron Setser Sister Lois "Cricket" Whiley of Kingston, TN Mary "Tennie" Hughes (James) of Rockwood, TN Host of nieces & nephews
The family will receive friends at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, TN on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will follow from the Chapel at 8:00pm with Rev. Hascue Carter officiating.
Interment and Burial will be in Roane Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
