Otto was the son of Otto Christian Hemming and Gunhild Marie Jorgensdatter.

He had two sisters: Johanne Marie and Johanna Barbara.

Otto married Anna Aashilde Jakobsdatter Molfjeld on March 15, 1900.

They were the parents of ten children: Otto Kristian, Inga Marie, Anges Ashilde, Bessie Minnie, Jacob Ole, John Ezik, Alfred Jule, Hartwick Lenard, Ralph Omer, and George Noel.

Otto Hemming 1879-1966

Otto Hemming, 87, of Bagley died at his home, October 18. He was born in Norway, September 15, 1879 and came to this country in 1902 and settled in Renville County in 1902 and settled in Renville County. In 1905 he homesteaded in North Dakota and has been living in Bagley since 1923.
He was married to Anna Molfjeld in Norway. She died in 1940.
He is survived by five sons, Christ and Hartwick, Bagley, Jacob and John, St. Paul, Alfred, Seattle and two daughters, Mrs. Tom Grove (Agnes) of St. Paul and Mrs. Betty Sanders, Seattle, eight grandchildren and one sister in Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter and one son.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 22 at 3 p.m. in the Cease Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Shoemaker officiated with burial in the Gran Cemetery.
