Born Dember 21, 1918 in Danby, he was a son of the late Orry and Ada Johnson Ostrander and the husband of his late wife, Gertrude Moravia. She died in 1988.
Mr. Ostrander was a 40 year employee of Thayer Appliance, Ithaca.
He was survived by two sons, James E. Ostrander and Gerry D. Ostrander of Locke; two brothers, Marvin of North Lansing and Donald of Locke; a sister, Millie Achilles, Ithaca; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; his beloved dog, Rosie.
