Private "Tim" Dauphin joined the 91st Battalion at Chatham, Ontario on December 13, 1916 and was transferred to the 186th Battalion. He shipped overseas and served with the 18th Battalion, Western Ontario Regiment. Sadly he witnessed the death of his fellow battalion member, Private William Tecumseh Sherman, reg. no. 880026 when he fell from a train at the Duren, Germany Train Station. Private Dauphin was released from service and died in London, Ontario.
