Elmer Leroy Woods, 68, of Woods Road, Peebles, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017, in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born November 7, 1949 in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late Elmer Archie Woods and Lucille Ruth McRoberts Woods. Surviving is his companion, Deborah of Peebles; a son, of Lucasville, Ohio; a daughter and husband of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, eleven step-children; two sisters of Waverly. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Woods, and two sisters, Joyce Kay Bolton and Sherry Woods.

Leroy was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and a truck driver.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Beaver's Chapel Wesleyan Tabernacle, Peebles, with Rev. Darby Beekman officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery, Peebles, with military honors conducted by American Legion Merritt Post 142, Waverly. Friends may call at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly from 5-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
