August 7, 1925 - November 20, 2017 Gwendolyn Price, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 7, 1925 in Owsley County, Kentucky, the daughter of Matt and Rachel Ross. Gwendolyn married Paul R. Price on February 5, 1941; they were married 43 years. She was the mother of seven children: Joan (Jim) South, Judy (Bill) Wright, Paulette (Danny) Phillips, Kenny (Sally) Price, Denise (Bud) Hurst, Jamie Price, and Jeanie (Scott) Hawkins. Gwendolyn had 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by one sibling, Freda (Cliff) McWhorter. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Price, and siblings Leon Ross, Bobby Ross, Eudella Cole, Gladys Ledbetter, Ruby Lynch, Katherine Ross, and Irma Lakes. She was an avid quilter, gardener and member of Church of Christ. Gwendolyn was a dedicated and loving mother and cherished grandmother. Private services are to be held at the convenience of the family at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio, officiated by Randy and Scott Taylor.
