Robert Earl Bearden, Sr., age 62, of Trion, GA and formerly of Tunnel Hill, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Bearden; brothers, Gary and Eddie Bearden.
Mr. Bearden was a member of Ridgedale Unity Church of God.Survivors include his wife, Jane Bearden of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Andrew Volz of Ringgold, GA; sons and a daughter-in-law, Robbie Bearden of Chickamauga, GA, Jason and Allie Rich of Dalton and Eric Rich of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Aline Bearden of Tunnel Hill, Jimmie and Wanda Bearden of Menlo, GA, Oliver and Marcella Bearden of Pensacola, FL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy and Martha Padgett, Mary and Bill Crain, Betty and Lester Broadrick, Phyllis Ellis and Mark and James Padgett; special grandson and paw paw’s little man, Gabriel Rich and Xander Rich; special granddaughter, Macy Rich and Alex Silvey and 5 other grandkids; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gregg Hunter and Rev. Matthew Evans officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Henegar, AL. Serving as pallbearers will be: Danny Bearden, Jimmie Bearden, Oliver Bearden, Roy Padgett, Mark Padgett and Kenneth McClure.
