Virginia (Cannavo) Robbins died July 4, 2002, at her home.
She was born in Akron and attended Garfield High School. She worked as a beautician for over 45 years in beauty salons at Polsky's, S & L, O'Neil's, and Penney's. She was currently the receptionist at Frank & Eric Hairdressers in Fairlawn.
Virginia was preceded in death by husband, Howard; parents, Santo and Josephine Cannavo; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Jean Cannavo; and brother, Joseph Cannavo. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John and Marilyn Leidal of Houston; sister, Dolores Cannavo of Akron; sister-in-law, Rosemary Cannavo of California; nephew, Carl (Rene) of Houston; nieces, Joette (Steve) of California, Jana (Andrew) of California, Judy and Mary of Tucson; special cousins, Frank, Gina, Carie, and Logan of Akron; stepsons, Dennis (Mary) of Mogadore and David (Karen) of Tucson; stepgrandchildren, Amy, Jeremy, Rob, Dennis, Jennifer, An gela, and Steven; four stepgreat- grandchildren; many cousins in Ak ron, California, and New York; plus many wonderful friends, including longtime friend, Eileen.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at St. Sebas tian's Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Summit County or your favorite charity.
