Joan Draper, 31, died March 16, 1980 in a Salt Lake City hospital after a long illness. She was born August 29, 1948 in Salt Lake City to Dennis N. and Evelyn Dazley Draper. She was educated in Davis County schools and graduated from Bountiful High School.
A member of the LDS Church she had served as a missionary in the Florida Fort Lauderdale Mission. She was a Sunday School teacher, a visiting teacher, and coordinator of Relief Society in the Ensign Seventh Ward.
She is survived by her parents of Bountiful; brother, Michael of Riverton; sisters, Wilma Jean, Murray; Denise, Ruthann, and Linda all of Bountiful; 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20 at 12 noon in the Val Verda 4th Ward Chapel, 2633 S. 50 W., Bountiful. Interment in the Bountiful Lakeview Memorial Estates.
