Matthew Dale Richardson, 46, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at his residence.

He was born November 17, 1970 in Lafayette, IN to William and Rachel (Daily) Richardson.

Matthew graduated from McCutcheon High School. His marriage was to Rebecca M. Bennett and they later divorced.

Matthew worked for Fairfield Manufacturing (Oerlikon) for 20 years in various departments prior to that he was a self-employed in the carpentry business. He also worked for his grandfather on the dairy farm in his teenage years. Matthew enjoyed the outdoors, mushroom hunting and was an avid gun collector. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving are his two daughters; parents; two brothers; one granddaughter; one grandson; four nephews; and one niece. Matthew most enjoyed the time he had to spend with his children, grandchildren and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
