A graveside memorial service for David P. Hatfield, 66, of Copperas Cove, will be at noon today at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Hatfield died Nov. 6, 2017. He was born March 10, 1951, to the late George and Letha Hatfield, in Matewan, W. Va.
Mr. Hatfield proudly served in the U.S. Army until his retirement in 1990. He later worked as a mechanic. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Hatfield was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Helen Lambert, Ada Perkins, Walter Hatfield, Roger Hatfield and Glen Hatfield.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Virginia Ann Hatfield; cherished children, Derek Hatfield and Alicia Hatfield; precious granddaughter, Lilian Tafao; sisters, Barbara Long and Rosie Kientz; and numerous other family and friends.
