Elva H. (Hassinger ) Miller, 81, of West Lancaster Ave., Malvern, and formerly of Loyalton, passed away Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at the Chester Valley Rehab and Nursing Home, Malvern.
She was born July 9, 1933 in Lykens , daughter of the late Homer and Mary Jane (Brown) Hassinger.
She was a lifetime member and retired church secretary for the Immanuel U. M. Church, Loyalton. She sang in the church choir for many years. She was a member of the Gratz VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a Philadelphia Phillies fan.
She was the widow of William J. Miller.
Survivors include 2 sons, William J. Miller, Elizabethville and Lee J. Miller (Cindy) , Malvern; 1 Daughter, Marilyn M. Walker, Malvern; 7 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren. two sisters, Cathrine Keiffer, Halifax, and Jean Romaine Patton, Halifax.
There will be a viewing at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Inc., Elizabethville on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 10-11 AM. Services will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Peters-Hoffmans Cemetery, Lykens.
