Ross Pugmire, 89, died February 6, 2000 in Reno, Nevada.
Born October 26, 1910 in Fish Haven, Idaho to Justin and Hannah Winter Bottom Pugmire. Married Dorothy Mobley on July 19, 1933. She died March 23, 1994. He has been a resident of Reno for 22 years, and previously lived in Sacramento and Fremont, California. He was a cabinet maker, and was a member of the American Legion and U.S. Power Squadron. Member of the LDS Church, and served in the Merchant Marines in the 1940's.
Survived by daughters, Dorothy Lively, Reno, Nev.; Jean Smith, Pioneer, Calif.; Susan Higby, Reno; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Lisa Gonzales in 1999; and great great-grandson, Gabriel Gonzales in 1993.
A memorial is being established with the Washoe Diabetes Health Center, 77 Pringle Way, Reno, NV 89502.
Funeral services Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Services are also being held Wednesday in Reno. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
