Ryan Wayne Wood, 17, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Born on March 1, 2000, in Lynchburg, he was the son of Roger Lee and Kim Andresen Wood. Ryan was Senior at Heritage High School. In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by two brothers, J.R. Landrum of Concord and Robert Wood and wife, Karen, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandparents, Brenda and Michael Robertson of Lynchburg, Patricia and Louie DeLuca of Concord, and Wayne and Julie Andresen of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a niece, JoHannah Clark; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Gary L. Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
