Bob was a Navy veteran of WW II and a survivor of the sinking of the Vincennes. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a life member of the Randel Yacht Club of Delanco, NJ. He and his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Dischert Kircher raised their three children in Mt. Holly, NJ. They moved to a houseboat once the children were grown, and resided in Florida in winters, summers in Rhode Island. Survivors include his wife; children Robert E. Kircher, Betty Vohringer, and Shirley M. Kircher; two sisters Elizabeth Schlecht and Helen Glenz; and four grandchildren.
