George was first married to Eve ? and then married Anna Barbara (Braucher) Dietrich daughter of Christopher and Anna Margareta Schissler Braucher. It appears he had many children. George served in the Revolutionary War under Capt. McClelland, 9th Regt and Col. Stewart, Light Infantry. In the DAR records his surname is spelled CASLER. He was a Private born in Berks county? or Germany and died in Penn Twp., Union Co. (now Snyder Co.), PA and the dates correspond with the dates I have for him and the DAR record also states his wife was Barbara Braucher.
