SAN FRANCISCO, JULY 21,-
Final rites will be said here tomorrow for Campbell Whitthorne, 82, United States appraiser in San Francisco during the Wilson administration. Whitthorne died yesterday at his home at 620 Second avenue.
He was a son of former United States Senator Washington C. Whitthorne and was a brother of Justice W. C. Whitthorne Jr., of the Tennessee Supreme court. He had been active in Democratic politics in California for 40 years and long was a member of the state central committee of that party.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Whitthorne, and four sons: Robert, Harry, Stanton and Irwin Whitthorne."

Rev. A. J. Child officiated. Burial was in Olivet Memorial Park."
