Rose was born in Posen, Germany. Ship manifest shows that Rose entered U.S through Ellis Island under the name of Adamina Polenska, Jan. 20, 1904 on the vessel Kaiser Wilhelm II departing from Brennen, Place of residence: Czerniak, Pos., Germany. Rose married Frank Zydel June 15, 1909, at St. Stanislaus Church, Buffalo, N.Y. Frank died at age 21 from a cereal grain mill explosion that accord Jan. 4, 1910. His remains were recovered Jan. 24, 1910. Rose married Frank's cousin, Walter Zydel, May 15, 1917 at St. Casmier, Bflo. N.Y.
