She was born in Ogden on September 11, 1936, the daughter of Clayton W. Bowman and Helen Lowe Nye. She attended Weber County schools.
On April 7, 1956 she married the love of her life, James R. Moss in Elko, Nevada. He died on November 10, 1994. They had two children from this union, Denise Marie Moss and her husband Dave Willette of Presque Isle, Maine and Darrel R. (Amy) Moss.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Lorin Farr 2nd Ward. Her hobbies were her pets and her painting.
She is survived by her daughter Denise (Dave) Willette of Brewer, Maine; three brothers, J. Douglas (Randell) Post of Plain City, Donald L. Post of Ogden, R. Dean (Karen) Post of West Haven; one sister, Marilee (Dale) Anderson of Ogden. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Darry, her parents and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden with Bishop Danny Maughan officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
