Norma Jean (Mumau) Trimble, 87, of Glen Campbell, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Roy James and Hally Geneva (Conner) Mumau, Sr., she was born on July 10, 1930, in Glen Campbell, PA.

Norma recently celebrated her 71st wedding anniversary with her husband, Norman R. Trimble. They were married on Sept. 15, 1946.

Norma's life revolved around her family. She thoroughly loved spending time with her husband; children and grandchildren and their families. Norma enjoyed baking and could be found spending many contented hours sitting upon her porch swing.

She is survived by her husband, Norman, of Glen Campbell; her three children: Nancy Smith of Emlenton, Norman "Roy" Trimble and wife Sherry of Glen Campbell and Christine Tate and husband George of Clymer; her former son-in-law, David Matko, Sr. of Urey; her 11 grandchildren: Wendy Stohon, Judy Ann Pierce, Barb McCall, Allen Smith, Jr., Carrie Barnett, Michael Barnett, Steven Barnett, Jennifer Faught, David Matko, Jr., Megan Matko and Jacob Tate; her 10 grandchildren: James Lee, Jr., Alison Burk, Jessica Holley, Kimberly Smith, Haleigh Smith, Gregory Geisler, Lucy Faught, Nora Faught, Dawson Matko and Bryn Matko; and her three great-great-grandchildren: Kenlee Smith; Haven Smith and Brooklyn Geisler.

Norma is also survived by her four siblings: Roy "Babe" Mumau and wife Kay of Glen Campbell, Peggy Buffone and husband Jim of Glen Campbell, Cuba Small and husband Charlie of Glen Campbell and Vada Soltis of Concord, Ohio; and her two sisters-in-law: Eleanor Trimble of Monaca and Della Trimble of Aliquippa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two daughters: Bonnie Jean Trimble and Judith Barnett; son-in-law Allen Smith, Sr.; grandson Christopher Smith; great-great grandson Tristan Hopkins; brother Guy Mumau; and sister Coleen Smegal.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017.

Interment will follow at the Thompson Cemetery in Hillsdale.
