Born on July 21, 1933 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late James J. and Elizabeth (Rohaly) Greer.
Ace served in the National Guard, and then he went into the United States Navy serving during the Korean War.
He worked as a Carpenter and Cabinet Maker, and then for the past 20 years he worked as the groundskeeper at Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home.
He was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Phoenixville Pigeon Club for over 30 years, Santa Anna Italian American Club, Polish Club, Slovak Club, Friendship Fire Company, St. Mikes Club and Hungarian Club all of Phoenixville.
Surviving are, daughter, Donna wife of Stephen Dippolito, daughter, Denise wife of Thomas Rakowski,son, Douglas Greer,
daughter, Darlene wife of Joseph Dippolito, 8 grandchildren who he loved dearly,Anthony, Stephen, Grace, Nicholas,Cory, Tami, Jaclyn and Robert,4 great-grandchildren,and sister, Marlene wife of J. Richard Rosmos.
He was preceded in death by son, Donald Greer, Jr., and brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Sparano, Margaret White, James Greer, Patrick Greer, Evelyn Mikl, and Joseph Greer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Black Rock Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning from 8:00 am to 9:45 am.
