Elton Wallace Smith, Jr. 81, of Langston, Al passed away November 4, 2017. Wallace was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He retired from Gulf States Paper Mill in Demopolis, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents Elton Wallace Smith and Vera Kerr Smith. He is survived by his wife Paulette J. Smith and his children Susanna (Rich) Naisbett, Johanna (Joel) Young, Tracy Smith Cargile, Scott (Lorrenda) Smith, Douglas (Melissa) Dreher, Dwain (Darlene) Dreher, Darlene (Robert) Jones, Dion (Susan) Dreher, 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 7th at 5pm with visitation beginning at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America or Shepards Cove Hospice in Albertville, Al.
