Bertha E. Payne (nee Vorndran), 80, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2004, in Brandon, Fla.
She was born in Akron, Ohio, on Dec. 24, 1924.
Survivors include George A. Payne, her husband of 58 years, of Uniontown, Ohio; daughter, Re becca D. Payne; son, Joseph A. Payne of Akron, Ohio; daughter, Susan Pavlich and husband, George Pavlich Jr., of Valrico, Fla. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Deborah Sue Pavlich of Valrico, Fla., Christine Marie and husband, Richard King, of Tampa, Fla., George Pavlich III of Valrico, Fla.; sister, Carol Wolff of Cuya hoga Falls; brothers, Jack Vorn dran of Marshallville, Ohio, Tom Vorndran of Akron.
The family will receive friends at Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
