Blacksburg, SC - - Edward (Ned) (Pops) Pierson Manry, 72, of 164 Rock Springs Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Dublin, GA, he was the husband of the late Angela Joy Sullivan Manry and son of the late Edward Richard Manry Jr. and Beatrice Pierson Manry. He loved fishing, car shows, traveling and loved his cat, Toot Toot. Mr. Manry was the former owner/operator of Southside Auto Trim and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a son, Kenny Manry (Sherry) of Campobello; a daughter, Kelly Galloway (Baron Holman) of Gaffney; two sisters, Martha Sullivan (Donny) of Locust Grove, GA and Betty Borders (Michael) of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Tiffany Culbertson (Adam), Heather White (Luke), Haley Burns (Trey), Justin Manry and Madison Galloway; and seven great-grandchildren, Ava, Anaston, Brayton, Bowen, Baxley, Colten and Caden. Mr. Manry was preceded in death by a brother, Dickey Manry; and a grandson, Lance Manry.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Todd Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery.
