Bridget Bean, daughter of Michael Bean and Hannah Flynn, was a native of Ireland. She immigrated to the United States as a child with her family before 1850 and settled in Strafford County, New Hampshire. Bridget married Owen Coyle about 1864. She was the mother of twelve children, eight of whom survived to 1900. Bridget died in 1912 and was interred in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Somersworth. Seven of her children survived her. Her widowed husband died the following year.
