Elizabeth "Bette" (Rollins) Juno was born on February 19, 1935 at her Grandma Grace's home in Mauston, WI to parents Henry "Hank" & Maurine (Scott) Rollins. She was the oldest of their five children. Her siblings include; Dale, Patricia, Jo Ann and Jackie. Bette grew up in the Mount Tabor / Kendall, WI area where she met George Juno. They were married on July 26, 1952. They started their family in the Kendall, WI area and In the early 1960's they moved to Madison, WI where Bette raised a large family and waitressed at the Cuba Club restaurant. Bette and George had eight children, in birth order; Mike, Kenny, Tim, Tom, Todd, John, Paul (died shortly after birth) and Pete. The Juno home welcomed anyone who stopped by to visit. With Bette, the coffee pot was always on. She'd say to her guest "I'll brew us a fresh pot of coffee"and then she'd make sure to offer them something to eat. Bette had a gift as a hostess and was a wonderful storyteller. She wasn't a complainer and she seemed to look for the good in people. In her later years when her health declined, she was lovingly cared for by her son Pete. Bette passed away at Pete's home on August 7, 2018 at age 83 years. She was kind, thoughtful and a wonderful mother. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
