US Congressman. He attended the State University of Iowa, and was president of Dultmeier Manufacturing Company Iowa. He was a member of the Board of Control of Iowa State Institutions, and a member of executive council of the Governor’s Alcoholism Commission and the Commission on Interstate Cooperation. In 1965, he was elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-ninth Congress, serving until 1967. An unsuccessful candidate for reelection, he served as member of the Iowa State Highway Commission. He died in retirement at age 73.
