Keith O. Lambert, 89, of Lafayette, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was born in Macksville, WV on November 21, 1927 to the late Otis and Gladys (Harper) Lambert, Keith grew up in the beautiful hills of Seneca Rocks.

Keith was a WWII Army veteran having served with the 11th Airborne, 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment stationed in Sendai, Japan. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal, Japan.

Professionally, Keith was a lineman at PSI Energy, retiring after 28 years of dedicated service “keeping the lights on”. He was a Mason of 50 plus years and member of the Masonic Lodge 123. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, and 40 year member of the Moose Lodge. Keith was a member of Beta Phi Sigma fraternity, sponsoring nursing education and helping those in need.

Keith loved to deer hunt in West Virginia with his brothers and friends; go camping in his 5th wheel; and take road trips on his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle with his wife as his co-pilot. He enjoyed listening and dancing to Country and Western music.

He is survived by his wife, Harriett; three children; three brothers; four sisters; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Keith is preceded in death by his son, Keith O. Lambert Jr; one brother; and two sisters.
