MRS. HOWARD JENKINS
(1907-1955)

Mrs. Carrie Bandy Jenkins, 48, of Eden Park, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital of complications. She had been ill for two years and confined to the hospital since June 28.

Mrs. Jenkins, a member of Valley Methodist Church, was born March 10, 1907, in Lyra, Ohio, a daughter of Maurice and Jennie Handly Bandy, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Jenkins; five brothers, Everett E. Bandy of Trafford, Pa., Wray P. Bandy of Dayton, Cecil M. Bandy of South Webster, John W. Bandy of Bellevue, and Carl D. Bandy of Portsmouth Rt. 6.

Mrs. Jenkins also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Rose Monroe of Nevada, Ohio, and Gladys Bandy of Dayton.

Funeral services will be conducted at Valley Methodist Church, Rev. John E. Dunham officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery under the direction of Emrick Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 a.m. Saturday when the body will be removed to the church.
