Mary Francis Dryden (nee Walker), was born June 16, 1936, in Scioto County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Evelyn Walker. She passed away September 19, 2020, at her residence in Bethel, Ohio, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Dryden, and her son David Andrew (Gerry) Dryden.

Mary Francis was the mother of Raymond O. Dryden, Harry (Elizabeth) Dryden, Anthony Wayne (Diana) Dryden, Theresia (David) Carroll, Vicki Apgar, and Keli (Robert) Ziggas. She was the dear sister of Clarence Jr. (Garnett) Walker, Freddy (JoAnn) Walker, Louise “Tootie” (Ronnie) Sauer, and Marilyn “Mutt” (Eddie) Lancaster. She was the dear sister-in-law of Mabel (Dryden) Napier, the special Aunt of Shane Souer, the grandmother of 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived by many friends that called her mom.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 West Main Street, Amelia, Ohio, followed by funeral services 7:00 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Manchester Cemetery.
