She grew up in Big Falls, Minn., and attended school in Littlefork-Big Falls. She lived in Wyoming for a short time before moving to International Falls, and raised two children, Travis and Jennie.
She and Rocky Besch spent the last 25 years together.
Linda loved spending time with her family, cooking in the kitchen, playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being around her friends and family. Her dog and her birds brought her happiness. Gardening, flowering and drying her own herbs brought her happiness. She loved singing, quilting with her mom, painting and being in the outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.
She always put others before herself. She sacrificed for her family, taking care of many relatives.
She is survived by her companion, Rocky Besch; children: Travis (Devon) Bernard, and Jennie Bernard; three grandchildren; parents, Richard and Shirley Boes; siblings: Janet (Larry) Nyhus, Michael Boes, Brenda (Dale) Promesberger and Patrick (Marcy) Boes.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rudy and Velma Boes and Kenny and Nettie Hagen; sister, Bonita Riveness; and baby brother, Dickie.
Interment will be at the Big Falls Cemetery.
