Shirley enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting, cake decorating, fishing, and going camping. Her biggest joy in life was her family, loved visiting, and playing cards and games. She was a member of the River of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Richard Dean Boes Jr.; two daughters, Bonita Riveness, and Linda Boes-Bernard.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard; sons: Michael Boes, Patrick (Marci) Boes; daughters: Janet (Larry) Nyhus, Brenda (Dale) Promersberger; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers: Walter (Julie) Pritchard, Wallace (Toni) Pritchard, and Halvor Hagen Jr..
