Shirley Ann Boes, 80, of Big Falls, MN died on Saturday February 24, 2018 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth, MN. She was born to parents George and Nettie Pritchard on June 10, 1937 in Bemidji, MN and grew up in Big Falls.
She married Richard Boes on April 16, 1955 in Big Falls.
Shirley enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting, cake decorating, fishing, and going camping. Her biggest joy in life was her family, loved visiting, and playing cards and games. She was a member of the River of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Richard Dean Boes Jr.; two daughters, Bonita Riveness, and Linda Boes-Bernard.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard; sons: Michael Boes, Patrick (Marci) Boes; daughters: Janet (Larry) Nyhus, Brenda (Dale) Promersberger; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers: Walter (Julie) Pritchard, Wallace (Toni) Pritchard, and Halvor Hagen Jr..
