Clarence R. Reichard of Lebanon, passed away on October 30, 2017. 

He was born in Lebanon, PA on July 29, 1927 to the late Martin L. Reichard and Anna P. (Smith) Reichard.

He was preceded in death by his wife Doris J. (Long) Reichard.

He was a graduate of Lebanon High, class of '45. Clarence retired from the VA Hospital and from Sears department store with 35 years of service. 

Clarence is survived by a daughter Kathy E. Fiorentino of South Carolina, tow sons Thomas D. Reichard of Hummelstown and James A. Reichard of Lebanon. A brother Donald E. Reichard of Myerstown, grandsons Jay Waltermyer, Scott Waltermyer and Jonathon Reichard. Great grandchildren, Ian and Kate and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Kenneth, Ronald and Martin. Sisters Lois Speece, Annabelle, Sylvia, Cory Reb, Doris Moore of Virginia Beach, VA and June Crosby of Lebanon.

He was lutheran by faith, a Veteran of WWII, having served with the Navy in the Pacific on LST 986 and 25. He did his training at the Bainbridge Naval Center, Bainbridge, MD.He was an avid fly fisherman.

A life member and the last original member of the Laurel Hunting Camp in Schuylkill Co. He loved deer hunting and spent many hours and days at deer camp after the season.
Clarence truly believed in conservation and was affiliated with the Nature and Wilderness Society, the Environmental Defense Fund, Friends of the Union Canal, Laurel Hunting Camp, Susquehannock Fly Fishers, LST Association of PA; Friendship Fire Co., and member of NAARF #458.

Services will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 3PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville,
