Dorothy was born February 20, 1921 in Oshkosh, WI to Joseph and Helen (Dombeck) Kozicki. She married James W. Newman on July 28, 1956 in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2009. Dorothy was a homemaker who at one time was a cook for the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Harvey (Janet) Patterson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Melvin "Buddy" (Shirley) Patterson of Sherwood, WI; six grandchildren, Jeff (LuAnn) Patterson, Val (Douglas) Snyder, Linda (Patrick) Stoflet, Jim (Jodi) Patterson, Tom (Lisa) Patterson and Tracy (William) Kizewski; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and 5 brothers and sisters.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Roger Dale Patterson and 3 brothers and sisters.
