Mervin Loy, of Hanahan, SC a retired farmer, died Sat. at his residents.

Mr. Loy was born Dec. 27,1891 in Creelsboro, KY a son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth (Ballenger) Loy. A member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows for more than 60 years. He also attended Sunday School at the Portside Church.

Survived by his wife: Leno (Taylor) Loy; a son William B. Loy of Atlanta, ILL; 4 daughters: Alva Pille of FL, Emma Keger of ILL, Elsie Curtis of ILL and Eva Means of New Castle, IN.

Burial was made in Caroline Memorial Gardens.
