Karen Hill Crawford went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017. Karen was born Dec. 20, 1945, in Natrona Heights. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1963 and attended New Kensington Business School. Karen was a financial administrator for several years at Oak Park Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in New Orleans. She was a member of many organizations including, but not limited to, First Baptist Church of New Orleans, Pennsylvania Grange and various sewing groups. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph O. and Frances M. Hill; her son, Patrick Ryan Crawford; a grandson, David Alan Gautreau Jr.; a granddaughter, Josie Adele Gautreau; and grandbabies, the Tusa Twins. Karen is survived by her husband of 50 years, William J. Crawford; her daughters, Sherri Crawford Pons, Lisa Gautreau (David) and Pamela Tusa (Chris); her sister, Kathleen Sickenberger (Bill); her brother, Frederick Hill; her grandchildren, Austin Gautreau, Grant Gautreau and Jamison Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC. 524 High St., in Freeport. Burial services will follow the visitation in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, with the Rev. William Mumaw officiating.
