Dorothea Ballard, of the 2500 block of Ballentine Blvd., a retired nurse assistant, died June 27, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Ballard was born in Princess Anne County. She had retired from Mosholu Park Nursing Home in New York City after 21 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Addie Spencer and Evelyn Ballard, both of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fitchett Funeral Home by the Rev. Carlton Upton. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
