Lloyd L. Allen Jr., 96, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at his residence in Downingtown. He was the husband of the late M. Constance (Connie) Milligan Allen with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Lloyd Allen Sr. & Laura J. Milligan Allen

Lloyd was a graduate of Coatesville High School and the Mc Carry School of Mechanical Dentistry.

He served his country proudly in WW ll as a Marine Paratrooper in the 1st Marine Parachute Regiment in the Solomon Islands.

Lloyd was employed by the former Luken's Steel Company and Beloit Corporation for 41 years. He was a member of the Downingtown VFW Post 845, the American Legion and the disabled American Veterans.

In his spare time Lloyd's hobbies included stain glass windows, woodworking, Facebooking and flying his drone at the park.

Lloyd is survived by his sister Vivian Spotts, Nieces, Nephews and his close friend Alexis Law.

He was pre-deceased by his Sisters Geraldine Mae Allen, Betty Jane Simpson and brother William F. Allen

Lloyd's funeral service will be held on Thursday November 2, 2017 at 11 AM from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown where friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:45 AM
