Virginia Beach - passed on to his heavenly home on October 25, 2017. Russ was born on August 19, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Francis and Ethel Sullivan. He was also predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Darlene P. Sullivan, his beloved son, Toby C. Sullivan, and his brother, Ralph W. Sullivan, Sr.
Russ is survived by his son, Russell J. "RJ" Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Andrea of Portsmouth. His daughter, Shannon D. Williams and her children, Gates A. Williams, and his wife, Danyelle and their children, Rayleigh and Colt, Taite D. & Ethan H. Williams and Natalie G. Matthews all of Virginia Beach. His step-brother, Walter Look, and his wife, Laura of Chesterfield. His step-sister, Marilyn Van Arnam and her husband, Joe of Afton, OK. Russ is also survived by many family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA. A celebration of Russ' life will be held at 1pm and interment will follow in their family plot in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
