Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home.
Born May 28, 1935, in Weinert, Agustin was a son of the late Cresencio and Maria (Fuentes) Sigala. He married Elva Quintanilla February 4, 2005, in Abilene. He retired from the City of Abilene and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children (Emma G. Sigala) and one son (Agustin Sigala, Jr., 'Bear').
Survivors include his wife, Elva Sigala of Hamlin; three daughters, Sandra Jewell (John) of Monroe, WA, Silvia Alvarez (Kirk Boyens) of Bellevue, WA, and Monica Sigala (Mario Gonzalez) of Abilene; two brothers, Paul Sigala of Abilene, Manuel Sigala of Irving; two sisters, Gloria Ortiz of Abilene, and Esperenza Martinez of California; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Elva Sigala, 620 N.E. Ave A, Hamlin, and Monica Sigala, 2102 Rosewood, Abilene.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hamlin Food Bank, P.O. Box 25, Hamlin, Texas 79520.
Pallbearers will be Mario Gonzalez, David Sigala, Pat Sigala, Henry Davila, Henry Davila, Jr., and Victor Martinez.
